The World’s Longest BBQ takes place on Saturday August 2nd, 2008. Food writer, Anita Stewart, began this initiative in 2003 in support of beef farmers and ranchers. The event has since expanded so it now includes all Canadian farmers and fishers, encouraging us to cook an entirely Canadian meal on the BBQ at 6 p.m. (regardless of your time zone).
